Since 1885, the Hampshire Field Club and Archaeological Society has been the county-wide organisation which has led the study of Hampshire, its environment and heritage. It is not bound by tradition, however, and is constantly evolving to provide the best possible awareness of and access to Hampshire’s heritage.

Recent Publications

Hampshire Houses  The Hampshire Buildings Preservation Trust has reprinted Edward Roberts’ authoritative study of Hampshire’s historic houses, which has recently been out of print. The new edition contains a lavishly illustrated addendum covering a further 95 buildings studied since the original publication of the book in
